Dr Jvalin Sonawala
Operational excellence and transformation leader, Master Black Belt, and author of the Navigate Framework for enterprise transformation.
Ci Flow did not start as a software idea. It started as a working problem that took twenty years to define properly.
Jvalin Sonawala has spent two decades leading transformation and operational excellence across banking, utilities, telecommunications, healthcare, government and insurance. The work spanned deep technical engineering, enterprise architecture, service management and quality systems, which is an unusual combination. It meant seeing improvement programmes from three angles at once: the process being fixed, the systems carrying it, and the governance judging it.
That range matters because the failure mode is always the same and always structural. Good belts produce good analysis. The programme still decays, because problem selection happens before the method starts and sustainment happens after it ends. Nobody is graded on either.
Doctoral research turned that observation into the Navigate Framework, an eight-phase approach to enterprise transformation. Running Lean 6 Sigma Hub then tested it against hundreds of belt candidates who went back to real jobs and hit the same wall. Ci Flow is what the framework looks like when it stops being a diagram and becomes the place the work actually lives.
Ci Flow follows the recognised body of knowledge because the person who built it is examined against it.
Research that produced the Navigate Framework
Lean Six Sigma at programme level
Quality management systems and audit
Enterprise architecture and service management
Two decades of deep technical grounding
Lean 6 Sigma Hub belt programmes
Six sectors, the same structural problem in each one.
Process risk, operational resilience and cost-to-serve
Asset-heavy operations, field work and regulatory reporting
Provisioning, assurance and customer journey flow
Patient flow, clinical support processes and safety
Service delivery, case handling and accountability
Claims, underwriting and intermediated distribution
Every statistic in Ci Flow comes from a deterministic engine validated against NumPy and SciPy. The AI reads the finished result and explains it. It cannot change a number, and 47 automated test suites run on every release to prove it.
Ci Flow implements RDMAICS, A3, Just Do It and Kaizen because those methods are taught and examined the same way in the classroom. The software follows the body of knowledge rather than inventing a private version of it.
A tollgate slide is generated from a worked, saved tool. If the tool was not completed, it does not reach the deck. That single rule removes the gap between what a team did and what a sponsor is shown.
The product is shaped by live improvement work and by the questions belt candidates actually ask, not by a roadmap written away from the problem.
